A night of North African Music and Cuisine in celebration of the release of Cheb i Sabbah's New Album LA KAHENA
We will be serving authentic North African Cuisine, offering a full dinner with bellydance performances and live percussion, as well as Live Moroccan Music and DJ sets, with Kemia (Moroccan tapas) served all night.
Dinner by Reservation, seating starting at 7:30pm.
Prix Fixe dinner reservations can be made by calling 415-259-8629.
There is very limited seating for dinner performance.
Making a reservation ensures you a seat at a table for traditional Moroccan Cuisine and Bellydance Performance with Ultra Gypsy and Turbo tabla.
Prix Fixe Dinner Packages, including cover, start at $40
($15 cover + $25 dinner). This reserves your seat for the performance as well.
You are welcome to arrive and order Kemia (tapas), but full dinner with seating is by advance prepaid reservation only.
Reservation times are 7:30, 7:45 and 8:00pm.

I am so happy I got to make it, Cheb i ji, I must thank you for being you, your music is bringing us together to celebrate the wonderful diversity of the world, at a time when I some times wonder, can't we allllllll just get along? You are a treasure to our dance community and the world, in my opinion.
The party was just lovely! I really like the Blue Cube! I thought the decore was JUST AMAZING! Please pass on the props.
what a great evening! Can't wait to go back there and dance to you, its great you are moving on from Nickies, new energy in 2005!

its an annual bellydance festival of "tribal style" bellydance, no caberet!
Danger Pants, we should coreograph something to Chebi ji's wonderful music! Excpet I need a dance lesson on Moroccan movements, I am versed in Egyptian style and zaar for the most part....

Tue, May 24, 2005 - 8:33 PMI'm just about to take a look at the pics from Chebiji's show and TF. Gina, thanks for all of the wonderful photos and enthusiastic energy you contribute to all of this.
Great to see all these wonderful comments about Chebiji's cd release party, and about tribal fest.
Since I was working on producing the CD release party, I missed most of TF, except for Sunday late. I had to make it up there and I did. and it was worth it. I plan to be there the entire weekend next year.
Hey, for those of you in town that missed Cheb i Sabbah's CD release party, you can catch him spinning at the Blue Cube on Thursday nights. Also can catch Ultra Gypsy, DJ Sep, DJ Dragonfly and me (Amar) plus many others at the Blue Cube on the second Saturday of Every month for Electric Vardo.
Ok, now i'm off to look at Gina's pics.
